Informational Evening: IEPs, ESY, the Navigator Program, & Identifying Resources in the Community

Event Details:

Do you have questions about your son or daughter’s IEP?  Have you had issues in the past with your child’s IEP or are you currently having some concerns? We are discussing IEPs, ESY, Parent Connect’s Navigator Program, and the help they can provide in finding resources in South Dakota.

Kris Sellers, the Outreach Specialist with Parent Connect, will be presenting the many ways that Parent Connect can provide assistance to families in the area.  In preparation for this meeting, Kris stated that the biggest take away she hopes parents will have is that, if they are ever having a rough year navigating the school and their child’s IEP, she wants you to call.  They are there to help.

We will be meeting in the Conference Room at the Downtown library Thursday, October 26th, from 5:45 to 7:45 pm.  The library is located at 200 N Dakota Ave and the conference room is just past the front desk.  If you are unable to attend in person, but would still like to join, we will be offering a zoom option, too.
